Desk Stretches for the Modern Worker

Long hours hunched over a keyboard often leave us with tight shoulders, a cranky lower back, and waning focus. But you don’t need a full workout break to snap out of that slump. Try these desk-friendly stretches during micro-breaks:

  1. Neck Rolls
Gently roll your head in a semicircle from one shoulder to the other. Keep movements slow to relieve tension.

  2. Shoulder Shrugs
Lift your shoulders up to your ears, hold for a second, then release. Repeat 10 times to ease upper-back stress.

  3. Seated Twist
Sitting upright, twist your torso to one side, grabbing the back of your chair for support. Hold for a few breaths, then switch sides.

  4. Wrist Flex
Extend your arm, pull the fingertips back gently with your other hand. This helps if you type or scroll a lot.

Daily Revive Tip:
Pair these stretches with a calming desk setup—add a small plant or diffuser for a mini Zen zone. And remember, an ergonomic pillow at night can help your muscles recover even further.
